My name is John Welch, I am an independent civil celebrant, John Welch Celebrant Master of Memories, and I live on a Narrowboat on the Trent and Mersey Canal at Willington South Derbyshire.

I have an NOCN L3 diploma in funeral, naming, and Couple ceremonies. I am also trained in the compilation and delivery of non-scripted Handfasting ceremonies, having been trained by the priestess of Avalon Dawn Kinsella from the Sacred Celebrant Academy.

These ceremonies are so emotionally warm and loving, allowing you; the loving couple to make your vows and promises in front of family and friends in a way that dates back thousands of years, you can utilise as much or as little of the ceremony that you desire,

My reason for becoming a celebrant is simple: I want to be able to create and deliver unique and memorable ceremonies. I want to deliver the perfect ceremony that you want, in your way, affording you a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you will remember.

Nikki is a bright and bubbly person, with a big heart and personality. She has spent 40 years in the hair and beauty industry before retraining as a celebrant. She also holds space for, and facilitates women’s circles. Creating beautiful space for heartfelt and sacred ceremonies. Nikki is a warm and welcoming person, she weaves fun, magic and love through all of her ceremonies. Each one crafted to perfectly incorporate her clients wishes. Whether it be a naming ceremony, a vow renewal, or a handfasting, Nikki will create a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony bespoke to you.
