Overview of the Training

This intensive training programme covers the practical requirements for a number of ceremonies.

This course takes place in Glastonbury, Somerset – also known as the Isle of Avalon, and also in Waltham Abbey in Essex.

We offer a wide range of learning experiences that can be incorporated into all aspects of celebrancy work. It is a valuable course of learning for those who want to add to their existing career path as a Celebrant and for people that are drawn to this as their chosen work or vocation.

Celebrant Training in Avalon

 

This training is an intensive programme that spans over seven days, plus two post-training online sessions. We begin your week with a “Meet The Team” gathering the night before you begin your training. We are hosting our wonderful trainees at the beautiful Goddess House in the centre of Glastonbury for drinks and delicious nibbles.  We get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere with luscious food and magical surroundings! Come and join us for this life changing experience. Here in this beautiful setting you will meet your team mates that you will be working with in the days that follow.
This gathering is a course requirement and must be attended.

Please be aware we only take small groups for quality of training and we are fully booked very quickly.

PROLOGUE

Every magical story has a prologue and your journey as a Sacred Celebrant is your own story about to unfold into the most amazing experience. No one can tell you what this is, you have to experience it for yourself.

Your journey on the path of the Sacred Celebrant begins as soon as you enter the beautiful county of Somerset to meet with us all at the gathering place on the Isle of Avalon.. .

After checking into your B&B or hotel we shall all come together to enjoy a delicious meal prepared and cooked for you by expert Chefs (paid for by SCA). A summers evening walk beneath the stars is beyond perfection as you contemplate the days ahead. This prepares you for the most intense training programme to follow the next day.

    Traditionally a precursor ceremony to the funeral, the Passing Over Ceremony,

    can also be a memorial ceremony, or even a one to one

Sacred Celebrants Academy at Healing Horizons Academy of Excellence Waltham Abbey Essex

This training is life-changing, inspirational, professional and extraordinary, encouraging you to step fully into your vocation as an IPHM accredited Sacred Celebrant. Our Priestess Dawn Kinsella is from the Glastonbury Goddess Temple and is the first person in history authorised to conduct legal pagan marriages in England & Wales and founder of Goddess Temple Weddings and Sacred Celebrants Academy.

Sacred Celebrant's Academy offer ‘In Person’ courses on how to conduct pagan handfasting ceremonies, ceremonial grief work, naming ceremonies and pre wedding ceremonies. This is a high spec professional training, covering all aspects of the ceremonial rituals that you need to become a fully-fledged Sacred Celebrant.

Training courses cover practical requirements and education for a number of ceremonies and require the student to commit to four ‘in person’ weekends of practical teaching sessions, with post online Script delivery class.

To reach us from London: London Underground to London Liverpool St, then the Overground from London Liverpool St to Waltham Cross.
